Description
To obtain an RPAS Pilot Certificate – Level 1 Complex from Transport Canada (TC), which is required to operate an RPAS beyond visual line of sight, you must pass the on-line TC written tests for both the Advanced and the Level 1 Complex pilot certificates, attend an instructor-led ground school (like ours) and complete this practical flight review. We are authorized by TC to administer these flight reviews. We serve the National Capital Region and beyond from Pembroke to Kingston to Cornwall.
Please note: as part of the flight review requires you to operate the drone out of your direct line of sight, you will need to provide your own visual observer (VO) as part of your flight crew. You are responsible for briefing your VO so that they understand their duties.
Fine Print
Payment required on booking. If we cannot find a mutually agreeable date, we’ll give you a full refund. If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled review, we’ll keep $50. If you are a no-show or if you fail to achieve a passing grade, we’ll keep 100%.
If you fail to achieve a passing grade, you need to wait at least 24 hours before we can repeat. You can also go to another flight reviewer and/or file an appeal with TC.
