We will teach you the basics of safely (and legally) performing the following:
- Picking a safe (and legal) location
- Planning the flight
- Preparing your RPAS for flight
- Takeoffs and landings
- Normal manœuvres
- Emergency procedures
- Packing your RPAS for transport
- Regular maintenance procedures
When you've completed the course, you'll be able to operate your RPAS with confidence that you'll be able to accomplish your mission successfully and safely. You'll also be prepared for the Transport Canada Flight Review (Advanced), that we can administer, a required demonstration of your knowledge and ability to receive the RPAS Advanced Pilot Certificate.
Fine Print
The full tuition is payable on booking. Refunds for cancellation will be made (less $50) up to 7 days prior to the start of the course. If we need to cancel the course, a full refund will be given. We reserve the right to set minimum attendance.
The course is weather dependant. As the weather is beyond our control, we will make every effort to reschedule a postponed course to a mutually convenient time. If the rescheduled time is not convenient, you can elect for a full refund.
